A GLS Parcel Shop is a parcel branch within an established point of sale. You can find them at 14,000 locations throughout Europe, of which more than 500 are in Slovenia. They are convenient points for picking up and dropping off your parcels with longer working hours, personal and fast service.

CONVENIENT FOR RECIPIENTS

The GLS Parcel Shop serves as an alternate address for the recipient. If the recipient is not at the provided address when their parcel is being delivered, the GLS courier can call them and arrange an alternative way of delivery by taking the parcel to a nearby GLS Parcel Shop, where the recipient can pick up their parcel on the same day. Online buyers can order a parcel to be delivered directly at a Parcel Shop in their vicinity. The parcel can be redirected to a GLS Parcel Shop on the last day before delivery or after unsuccessful delivery with the help of the ''Delivery Manager''. Delivery Manager is a web application that allows you to move the delivery date or redirect an individual parcel to another address, to a GLS Parcel Shop or to a GLS Parcel Locker. All delivery options are open as soon as you receive an e-mail or SMS with a link and password, until midnight before the first delivery attempt, and then again after any unsuccessful delivery. When the sender does not provide us with the contact details of the recipient, the parcel recipient can inform us on their own that they want to pick up the parcel at a Parcel Shop by calling at 01 500 11 50 or by e-mail at info@gls-slovenia.com.

Receiving a parcel at a GLS Parcel Shop is simple as you only need the parcel number that you receive in your notification, SMS or e-mail. At some collection points, you can also pay for the parcel (for cash on delivery) with your payment card (in some cases, a bank transaction fee of 1% of the cash-on-delivery price is charged). You can pay with cash everywhere.

EASY AND CONVENIENT SENDING OF PARCELS FROM THE GLS PARCEL SHOPS

You can prepare your parcel at home and just leave at a Parcel Shop, where the courier then picks it up. You place an order on posljipaket.si, pay the postage charge and print the carriage voucher - the address label with the GLS number. Parcels prepared with Posljipaket.si can also have the option to be paid with cash on delivery by the recipient. The cash-on-delivery value is returned to the sender directly to their transaction account. You can do all this without additional software or any registration.

When you bring a parcel to a Parcel Shop, you will receive a confirmation of the parcel drop off. Parcels sent by 11.00 will be delivered in Slovenia the next day.
